DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE

Dewan Budaya has been established since 1994. This cultural center functions to nurture and promote the activities of arts, culture, and heritage in Malaysia, either through history, traditional, modern or contemporary besides taking initiatives to collaborate with both the local and international community as well as cooperating with the local and international students in administering cultural activities.

Dewan Budaya is not limited to only providing facilities and support for the convenience of the university and the outsiders to organize cultural activities and performances. We are also providing academic support such as conducting research and documentation, education, seminar, courses, and various workshops to increase their value added.

In addition to that, Dewan Budaya also focuses on Inspiring, Educating, Promoting, and Providing Services, especially to students and staff of USM.
