 Dewan Budaya
Band Led by Faisal Mohd, a senior cultural artist, this band consists of 3 professional musicians (cultural artiste) that include a lead guitarist, a bassist, a drummer, and a few singers. This band often collaborates with freelance professional musicians in the industry such as saxophonists, trumpeters, keyboardists, and guitarists. The band has performed at numerous events local and internationally and has accompanied various established artists such as Desert Rose (South Africa), Faizul Sany (Winner of Akademi Fantasia 2013), Azmeer (Well-known Malaysian Composer), Ajai (Malaysian Composer and Singer), Arja Lee (Malaysian Actor and Singer) and many other local artistes in Malaysia

Jazz Band
USM Jazz Band consists of 40-60 undergraduate students in USM from different faculties. Led by Ms. Azreen Harlina, USM Jazz Band has now become one of the prominent music groups in USM that have continuously service to the university, especially during the annual convocation.

Led by Faisal Mohd, this group consists of 8 musicians from Dewan Budaya and the School of the Arts USM combined which often perform for private functions outside USM as well as other official events by the university
